Where to use the codebase Attribute

  • As Type URI:
    codebase is declared on the element: object

Description

The codebase attribute may be specified on an object element and should contain the base URI against which relative classid, archive and data URIs for that object will be resolved.

If codebase is not present, the default value is the current document's base URI (see the base element).
